After founding her brand around three years ago, American fashion designer Nellie Partow has been quietly building up her business ever since.

Partow studied business at University of San Francisco before joining the fashion course at Parsons School of Design where she juggled a job with Donna Karan. Following graduation she spent time working at John Varvatos and Clavin Klein, which lent her collections a softly tailored quality, and led to her being picked up by shopping institutions including Saks Fifth Avenue and labelled 'The Next Big Thing' by Style.com.
